AMERICAN SMOOTH. Ballroom not exciting enough well why don’t you try The American Smooth all the way from the USA.

What is the American Smooth

The American Smooth can be best described as a form of ballroom dancing with enhanced steps that allows you to be more free without the restricted technique of footwork and posture. American Smooth has all the basic principles and the technique of ballroom dancing still apply; however you are not required to maintain a continuous body contact. You can have much more fun by spinning your partner even small lifts are allowed!

The American Smooth very easy to learn, yet refreshing due to its interesting and rich syllabus of steps.

The music used for American Smooth, Waltz, Tango, Viennese Waltz and Foxtrot is basically the same as that used for Ballroom as we know it in Europe, with the exception of quickstep, which is not danced in the American Smooth style. In other words you can surprise your friends by dancing a totally new choreography to almost any ballroom dance music.
